Connecting the Community
The Godwin Mercado Farmers Market exists to connect the community with fresh, locally grown food while celebrating the diverse cultures and vibrant spirit of Wyoming. By supporting local growers and makers, we foster health, economic opportunity, and meaningful connections in a welcoming space for all.
Market Schedule
Sundays (May 3 -October 25)
9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Note: There will be no markets on May 24, July 5 and Sept. 6.

Increase Access to Fresh, Healthy Food:
Provide a consistent, welcoming space for residents to access fresh, locally grown produce and culturally relevant food options, with a focus on serving nearby neighborhoods and reducing food insecurity.
Strengthen Community Connections:
Serve as a gathering place that brings people together to celebrate the community spirit of Wyoming through events and programs.
Foster Entrepreneurial Growth:
Create low-barrier opportunities for local farmers, food makers, and artisans—especiallyfirst-time and underrepresented entrepreneurs— to grow their businesses, test new products, and connect with customers.
Promote Community Health & Wellness:
Support the health and wellbeing of Wyoming residents by connecting them with fresh food, wellness resources, and opportunities to learn about healthy eating, active living, and disease prevention.
