Godwin Mercado to Host Book Market on March 14

Community event to feature local bookstores Schuler Books, Pages and Grapes, Bettie’s Pages, and more.

Wyoming, Michigan, March 5, 2026 – Godwin Mercado will host its first Book Market on Saturday, March 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. featuring local bookstores and authors.

Attendees are invited to browse over 20 book vendors featuring a wide selection of new and gently used books, listen to story time from Wyoming Police Department and Kent District Library from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and check out food and beverage vendors The Stray and Casa De Los Abuelos.

Other events include live music with Mark Sala from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., a make-your-own bookmark station, and treats to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday.

The market will host KDL’s bookmobile where attendees can register for a library card, pick up program information, and check out library materials.

Admission is free and open to the public.
